Sailing on the Orwell is the perfect way to explore Suffolk. There are also plenty of riverbank walks with excellent pubs along the way like the Butt & Oyster at Pin Mill where Arthur Ransome wrote ‘We didn’t Mean to go to Sea’ from the Swallows and Amazons series of stories.
